Not so much today - lots of clouds and rain - which we need. It has warmed up finally.

Sarah has the funniest column - you should all go and read it.

Profile Information

Introducing Myself:
Hi , I am the spice girl of a retired Anglican Priest now living in rural Nova Scotia Canada.
Since retirement I have been taking a much more active role in parish life and am at this time pariah warden and a member of the choir.
I am a writer and have a monthly column in our Diocesan paper called "St. Bart's By The Bog" . It is about a fictional parish in rural Nova Scotia where exciting things are happening under the leadership of Rev. Billie. You can find back copies of the column by going to http://www.nspeidiocese.ca/times/times.htm
and finding the column on page 2....Why, there even is a picture of me!!!!
My Joys:
My joys are my family ,4 grown children all living far away and 9 granchildren still young enough to think that Granny and Granddad are magical creatures living by the sea.
My dog Silas and my kitten Lucy, my garden, my golf game , my parish family and my faith. ....not in this particular order!!! but most of all, my sweetie, Donald
My Frustrations:
My waning energy level and aches of impending old age...after all I turned 70 this year!
The need for more workers in our small corner of God's vineyard and reluctance of those who could work for the parish finding many excuses.
The wish to travel more often to visit kids and grandkids and the lack of funds to do this as often as we would like
